is your student career ready?
Has your student selected the right career path?
Deciding a career path can be challenging for students without being able to fully understand what all it entails. When students have a real world job experience it opens their eyes to the benefits, challenges, likes, and dislikes careers they may not have considered without truly understanding all of their opportunities; more importantly they have a more realistic outlook once they enter the workforce.
Our goal, to get them to say, “I want to do this the rest of my life.”
Applied learning through internships is a major contributor to student success. According to Florida International University, a 2016 study from the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) shows the following:
- 95% of employers are looking for college graduates with experience
- Organizations converted 58.6% of their interns into full-time employees
Brigham Young University states in a recent study that graduating interns received $2,240 more in starting salary, on average, than students who did not intern
In partnership with the school, local businesses passionate about helping students reach their full potential are excited to provide these students with internship opportunities to further develop and expand their learning capabilities.
